Dareen Abughaida

Dareen Abughaida joined Dubai One from London where she was a presenter covering major events around the world including the global financial crisis.

Dareen anchored Global News Update on Bloomberg TV, kicking off the morning shows, and setting the tone for the business day in Europe. She also presented World News bulletins throughout the day, covering a range of issues from North Korea to Gaza. Dareen joined Bloomberg UK to launch and present the channel’s first and only program on the Middle East called Middle East Money Focus.

Prior to Bloomberg Dareen was a Presenter and Producer with CNBC Arabia. During that time, she produced and presented three programs which aired across the global CNBC networks. Her program in Arabic, Personal Investor, covered a range of investing topics for investors, and she hosted weekly analysts and stock market experts on the program.

Dareen also presented and produced an English program, Business Arabia, a business and financial news program on the Middle East region airing on CNBC Europe, CNBC Asia as well as CNBC World. During that time as well, she produced and presented International Diary, a one on one interview program where she talked to the leading personalities defining the business landscape. The program aired on CNBC Pakistan.
