On December 24th, 2004, Dubai’s English-language TV, Channel 33, was shut down and re-launched as DUBAI ONE.
It sported a new look, a new line-up and was edgy enough to appeal to modern, young Arabs and English speaking expats alike.
With its unique, cool and elegant look, DUBAI ONE mixes original, locally produced programming with the worthiest of American dramas, movies, half-hour comedies, reality, culture, talk and news shows.
Its original English-language program offerings of news, talk and travel shows, not only rival their American counterparts in their production values, but, also offer a service desperately needed by English-speaking expat community who now call Dubai home.
Our partnership with some of the biggest Hollywood studios offers us access to their rich library of Box office hits and award-winning shows.
DUBAI ONE covers the entire pan-Arab footprint. It is free to air and is carried on both Nilesat/ Arabsat.
