Britain’s Got Talent is back with another exciting and eccentric series of entertainment.
This spring sees the return of the nation’s favourite variety talent show, celebrating 12 years on our screens.
And with no shortage of variety or talent, the judging panel have been surprised, charmed and moved to tears by a whole host of acts whilst looking for 2018’s winning performance.
The kings and queens of entertainment Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams return once again to their rightful thrones on the judging panel with Ant and Dec on hand and waiting in the wings to provide support and congratulations to each of the acts performing for the judges, the live audience and viewers at home.
Over the past few months, the judges and presenters have travelled the length and breadth of the country seeking out the weird and the wacky, the wonderful and the inspirational. Once again, all four judges and Ant & Dec have had the opportunity to give the act they think has that extra special something an automatic place in the live semi-finals with the use of the Golden Buzzer.
With thousands of applicants, viewers can expect to be amazed and astounded by the impressive line-up of acts competing to be crowned this year’s winner.
The lucky act who captures the heart and imagination of the British public will secure themselves an incredible £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance 2018. From choirs and dance acts, to a group of mysterious aliens and a musician skilled in the classical Russian jaw harp, the Britain’s Got Talent judges have seen it all, and this series looks to be the most entertaining yet!
The past decade has seen Britain’s Got Talent deliver some of the most talked about winners including Paul Potts, Diversity, Ashleigh & Pudsey, Lance Corporal Richard Jones and most recently Tokio Myers. But, it’s not just the winners who have wowed the nation, with BGT acts providing some of our most memorable TV moments, such as superstar singer Susan Boyle, comedian Jack Carroll, magician Darcy Oake and of course, the dog that hypnotised Simon Cowell.
No doubt this year, there will be many more must-see moments to come.
