Chris Pratt Gets A Star
mediaexpress.reuters.com: Chris Pratt, star of recent big screen hits "Jurassic World" and "Guardians of the Galaxy,'' received the 2,607th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday (April 21). Pratt reprises his role as space hero Peter Quill in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" which will be released on May 5.
In an emotional speech in front of the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Pratt questioned whether he merited receiving the honor. "I am humbled and I feel grateful but I'm not sure I'm worthy," said Pratt.
Also speaking at the ceremony were "Galaxy" director James Gunn and Pratt's wife, actress Anna Faris. Faris and Pratt's young son Jack, 4, was front and center at the star, posing with his parents, 'Guardians' actors, studio executives and friends. The 37-year-old Pratt first gained popular renown with his portrayal of comedic slacker and shoeshiner in the TV series, "Parks And Recreation." Pratt will once again take on the role of dinosaur trainer Owen Grady in the "Jurassic World" sequel, due out some time in 2018.
