1. Where can I see a detailed programme listing for all my favourite
shows on DUBAI ONE?

2. How can I propose new ideas for shows I would like to see
on DUBAI ONE, and shows that I may want DUBAI ONE to help me produce?
DUBAI ONE is always delighted to receive all viewer comments
and feedback, and welcomes any suggestions you may have for the
channel's enhancement, as well as for interesting programmes and
shows. Send us all your ideas through the
Contact Us section. However, owing to the volume of requests
we receive, it is often not possible to respond to each one individually.
But we do value your feedback, and will consider your requests.
3. How can I be a guest on any of the shows on DUBAI ONE?
DUBAI ONE now allows our viewers to participate in many of
the shows as potential guests or part of an audience. So watch your
favourite shows closely, and follow the instructions provided on
being part of the show. Most shows that invite viewer participation,
will have an email address or phone number where you can call or
SMS to leave your details, our team will then be in touch with you.
4. How can I get in touch with my favourite presenters on DUBAI
ONE?
DUBAI ONE does not give out any personal information for
presenters, guests or employees who appear on, or work for, our
channels. To communicate with anyone from DUBAI ONE, please

to the appropriate person on your behalf.
5. Can I get a DVD copy of any of the local shows on DUBAI ONE?
While DUBAI ONE does not provide DVD copies of its programmes
and shows free of cost, you can purchase copies of your favourite
locally produced shows from the Channel. Please Contact Ms. Muna

6. Can I get to see my favourite shows and movies on DUBAI ONE
repeated again?
DUBAI ONE has scheduled re-runs of your favourite shows and
movies. You can find all information on the re-runs of our American
series, movies and local productions on the View Schedule section
of the DUBAI ONE homepage. While it is not always possible
for DUBAI ONE to repeat our shows and movies, do send in
your requests and we will take them into consideration, where possible.
7. How can I get some work training at DUBAI ONE if I wish to
join the TV industry?
DUBAI ONE is a Government channel, and empowering young Emirati
nationals to join the media industry is one of our objectives. If
you are a UAE national, and want to send in your applications for
work training, do send us your recent updated resume and picture,
and we'll take things forward.
8. Why does DUBAI ONE not have any children's shows and programmes?
DUBAI ONE targets viewers, both expatriates and UAE nationals,
comprising men and women, usually in the age group of 18 - 45 years.
This age group precludes animation films and children's entertainment.

9. I'm having difficulty viewing the Video-On-Demand. What
could be the problem?
Video-On-Demand is dependent
on the speed of the Internet
bandwidth and on the efficiency
of the Server as well. If
your Server is slow on any
given day, the VOD buffering
could be getting delayed
or deactivated. Do try logging
back when the Internet speed
seems to be faster.
10. How do I advertise on DUBAI ONE's TV Channel or Website?

13. Does DUBAI ONE censor all shows that are aired? Why?
As a leading Government TV station, which caters to some 200 different
nationalities, DUBAI ONE aims to be culturally sensitive,
and not offend the sensibilitites of any section of our viewers…..besides,
we are a family channel, and would like to ensure that the entire
family is comfortable watching our shows together. This does sometimes
mean that any content that is not in keeping with Dubai Media Incorporated
(DMI) Guidelines needs to sometimes be removed.
14. DUBAI ONE claims to be a local channel, speaking to Dubai
residents, and it would be great to see more Dubai-centric content.
